It’s no secret that I love Jesus. Here on my little corner of the internet, my aim is to make much of Him. On my “About Me” page, you can find a little history of when this blog started and my heart behind the words I write here (and in other spaces online). For a while, I’ve wanted to take the time to actually write out a statement of faith, to try (the best I can) to answer the question, “What do I believe?” It’s not perfect (Scripture is our inerrant authority!), and I can’t claim to have thought of any of it all on my own. This is simply a product of a lot of studying God’s Word and praying, but also, of many years of being poured into by the local church, solid theological books, my husband/pastor, and an excellent seminary education. Also, it’s not exhaustive. Simply, these are the “highlights.”

I pray this will provide a helpful snapshot of my heart for God, His Word, and the Gospel.
